Hey girlies, big PSA incoming: cleaning matters.
Not just because dust is gross (it is), but because the way you care for your space actually shapes you as a person.
Before you roll your eyes and mutter “Ugh, boringgg!”, preparing to exit this read – hear me out.
We’ve cracked the code to make cleaning fun, satisfying, and maybe even a little addictive.
The truth is, great things don’t come easy – and neither does a spotless kitchen counter.
But with the right vibe and the right tools, a little effort can feel less like punishment and more like self-care.
Step 1: Set the Vibe

Cleaning is 50% tools, 50% mindset.
So, set the mood before you even pick up a sponge.
- Light a candle or diffuse lavender/pinewood oil for that “spa at home” scent.
- Blast your favourite Spotify playlist and let the beats keep you moving.
- Aircon on (my personal preference and makes cleaning cooler *pun intended)
- Most importantly, remind yourself: this is you honouring your space, not punishing yourself.
Step 2: Surfaces First

Surfaces are where crumbs, spills, and fingerprints love to live.
- For everyday wipe-downs, reach out for multipurpose cleaners that do wonders (if you have pets or children, ensure they’re non-toxic).
- For tougher grime, like pot bottoms, sinks, or tiled counters, go for cleaning paste. Many of them are specially formulated for stubborn stains.
Step 3: Dishes, But Make It Cute

Forget boring sponges.
Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mummy are the dishwashing icons – with smiley faces, colour options, and that genius water-temp texture change (firm in cold, soft in warm).
Pair them with a solid antibacterial dishwashing liquid, and suddenly dish duty feels a lot less dreadful.
Step 4: Vacuum, Mop & Toilets

Now we’re getting serious.
- Vacuuming and mopping: A cordless vacuum makes the job of getting around so much easier. Add a steam mop for that extra over-the-top shine.
- Toilets: No one loves this, but hey, some things are inevitable. Use a power scrubbing brush for tiles and corners so you don’t break your back.
Nuren Tip: keep separate cloths for the bathroom and kitchen – don’t mix them up, ‘cause gross, sis.
Step 5: Fans and Hard-to-Reach Spots

Fan blades, aircon vents, and shelves love collecting dust bunnies.
Instead of climbing on chairs, get one of those extendable dusters online!
They stretch up to the ceiling, bend around awkward corners, and save you from lugging out the 10 feet ladder.
The After-Glow

We totally agree with you – cleaning isn’t always fun.
But once the candles are lit, the music is pumping, and your home smells fresh, you’ll feel lighter too.
Ten years from now, you’ll be glad you built these habits, because nothing screams “I’ve got my life together” like a clean, welcoming home.
And remember this: cute girls and powerful women?
They have one thing in common – they’re neat and clean!
