Malaysians can now message PMX AI, an artificial intelligence version of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, through WhatsApp.
The service allows users to ask questions, share concerns and send ideas relating to Malaysia and government policies.
However, it is important to be clear: you are not chatting directly with Anwar. The replies are generated by an AI chatbot designed to reflect his public speeches, writings and policy positions.
What Is PMX AI?
PMX AI is a digital avatar of Malaysia’s 10th prime minister, which explains the name “PMX”.
It was introduced as a new way for Malaysians, especially younger users, to communicate their views and concerns through a platform they already use daily.
The AI system was developed by Malaysian technology company Zetrix AI.
Users can ask PMX AI about topics such as:
- Government policies
- Public programmes and assistance
- Current national issues
- Concerns affecting their communities
Malaysians can also use the chat to share suggestions, feedback and aspirations for the country.
Still, sending a message does not guarantee that Anwar will personally read or respond to it.
