Malaysian actress Koe Yeet has officially entered her mum era.
The 34-year-old actress recently welcomed her first child, a baby girl, sharing the happy news with her followers on Instagram on 16 September.
“My heart now lives outside my body,” she wrote alongside photos from the hospital. “Welcome to the world, baby girl.”
The post included a glimpse of Koe holding her newborn as well as a sweet close-up of her daughter’s tiny hand wrapped around her finger.
Koe first confirmed her pregnancy back in March, around six months after marrying her non-celebrity husband in Kuala Lumpur in September 2025.
And if you’ve been following her throughout the pregnancy, she certainly didn’t disappear quietly into maternity mode.
Instead, Koe brought her usual candid personality along for the ride, sharing everything from pregnancy clothing hacks and self-care routines to some of the less glamorous realities of being pregnant.
She even documented the experience through her cheekily titled social media series, I Don’t Want to Be Cute, I Want to Be a Sexy Mother.
Now, the next chapter has officially begun.
A New Role for Koe Yeet
Koe has been in front of the camera since she was a child, appearing in films including Ah Long Pte Ltd and Homecoming before later starring in the Singapore series Titoudao.
Her performance in Titoudao earned her the Newcomer – Actress award at the Asia Contents Awards in 2021.
Outside acting, Koe is also a qualified lawyer. She studied law at the University of Reading in England and was called to the Bar in 2018 before eventually deciding to return to the entertainment industry.
But for now, she has a completely different role to settle into.
Motherhood.
