Raudhah Nazran Returns to Public Life With the Launch of Bayt Amal Nur

A new foundation inspired by motherhood, survival and faith

After nearly two years away from public life, award-winning social entrepreneur Raudhah Nazran is stepping back into the industry with a renewed sense of purpose, announcing the establishment of Bayt Amal Nur.

The new sub-venture under Accelerate Global was inspired by the birth of her daughter and her deeply transformative journey into motherhood.

Bayt Amal Nur, meaning “House of Hope and Light”, is dedicated to creating safe, compassionate and sustainable support systems for women, mothers, youth and underserved communities, rooted in dignity, faith and long-term impact.

The announcement marks Raudhah’s first public appearance and personal statement after a two-year hiatus from work and social life due to a life-altering pregnancy and medical recovery.

Recently recognised as the Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 by SEBA Asia, Raudhah is widely known as one of Malaysia’s most influential young changemakers.

At 29 years old, she built Accelerate Global into one of the country’s leading youth-focused social enterprises, directly impacting more than 10,000 individuals through entrepreneurship, career and personal growth programmes.

Her accolades include being listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2022, Prestige Top 100 Women of Power 2023, Tatler Asia’s Gen.T Honouree and Top 400 Asian Young Leaders.

She was also the first Asian Muslim woman to lead a UK-based Enactus social enterprise team, later earning the Enactus UK President and Team Leader of the Year Award.

But behind the accolades was a private battle few knew existed.

A Private Battle Behind Her Two-Year Absence

In an emotional written account released on her personal Instagram, Raudhah revealed the reality behind her absence.

She shared that she spent most of the past two years on bed rest and in and out of hospitals while enduring a high-risk pregnancy that nearly claimed her life.

Words cannot do justice to what I went through,The past ten months destroyed me. It broke me. Yet in that breaking, I met Allah more intimately than ever before.

On 10 September 2025, Raudhah and her husband, Fran Zulfikarpašić, welcomed their daughter, Amal Nur Zulfikarpašić, via caesarean section following severe medical complications.

The pregnancy, which Raudhah kept private, was marked by extreme physical deterioration, prolonged malnutrition, dangerously low blood pressure and multiple catabolic episodes where her body began consuming itself to sustain the pregnancy.

During delivery, she also experienced what she described as a near-death experience after an unsuccessful anaesthesia during surgery.

Through the haze and the chaos, I saw my husband’s face wet with tears and we heard her cry. In that moment, the pain, the fear, the months of breaking — all of it collapsed into a single truth: she was here. Alive. Our Amal.

It is this experience that gave birth not only to a child, but also to a renewed mission.

The Meaning Behind Bayt Amal Nur

Bayt Amal Nur was created in honour of Raudhah’s daughter, whose name carries profound significance.

Amal means “hope” or “deed”, while Nur means “light”.

The foundation reflects the values that sustained Raudhah throughout her most difficult chapter: mercy, resilience, service and faith.

About Blitz

While Bayt Amal Nur will expand into broader humanitarian and community-focused initiatives over time, its first flagship programme, Blitz, is already taking root in Langkawi.

The programme aims to empower underprivileged single mothers through nutrition-based entrepreneurship.

Through Blitz, a new social-impact initiative developed alongside Accelerate Global, Bayt Amal Nur is working to transform vulnerable women from aid recipients into financially independent artisans and future providers within their own communities.

The programme begins by recruiting and training underprivileged single mothers in Langkawi.

Participants will be equipped not only with technical baking and production skills, but also with mindset development, business exposure and sustainable income opportunities.

Creating Health-Conscious Snacks With a Social Purpose

At the centre of Blitz is the creation of premium, health-conscious snacks under a “Snacks that Heal” concept.

The programme will begin with artisanal, no-sugar fortified cookies made using Ensure plant-based milk and Lakanto Luo Han Guo as a natural sugar alternative.

Positioned not as charity products but as premium, locally crafted goods, Blitz aims to bridge a growing gap in the market for healthier, diabetic-friendly snacks.

At the same time, the programme seeks to create long-term economic mobility for women in underserved communities.

When you buy these products, you are not simply purchasing cookies. You are helping restore dignity, independence and hope to women who deserve the opportunity to rebuild their lives sustainably.

From Training to Sustainable Employment

The initiative follows a structured funnel model, beginning with the recruitment of 10 single mothers who will receive training allowances and entrepreneurial guidance.

From there, the top participants will continue into active production and receive fair wages.

Bayt Amal Nur and Accelerate Global will also support market access through partnerships, pop-ups and retail placements.

For Raudhah, Blitz reflects the deeper philosophy behind Bayt Amal Nur: building ecosystems of mercy that empower communities beyond temporary aid.

We do not want to create dependency. We want to create future women leaders, providers and changemakers. Bayt Amal Nur exists to turn survival into sustainability and pain into purpose.
