After nearly a decade together, Malaysian model and actress Lisa Ch’ng has officially married Hong Kong TVB actor Mat Yeung in a glamorous wedding celebration held in Kuala Lumpur.
The couple, who first met while filming TVB’s long-running sitcom Come Home Love and went public with their relationship in 2016, celebrated their union with a traditional tea ceremony followed by a lavish wedding banquet attended by around 300 guests from Malaysia and Hong Kong.
The star-studded guest list included TVB stars Kenneth Ma, Roxanne Tong, Nancy Sit, Maria Cordero and Max Cheung, alongside family and close friends who travelled to Kuala Lumpur for the special occasion.
Speaking to the media, Lisa shared that she chose to hold the wedding in Malaysia to honour her late father, businessman Datuk Bill Ch’ng Chong Poh, and to bring her family together for the celebration.
The newlyweds also revealed they hope to start a family in the future, while adding they will “let nature take its course.”
The couple plans to host another wedding celebration in Hong Kong for relatives and friends who were unable to attend the Kuala Lumpur ceremony.
